Hear from the community about the need for an I-O Psychology credential.
Credentialing I-O psychologists is crucial to establish standardized practices, ethical conduct, and demonstrate competencies. This protects organizations from the potential harm caused by unqualified consultants, such as implementing biased hiring practices, creating ineffective training programs, or fostering toxic work environments. Just as other professions that can cause harm require credentialing, I-O psychology must implement this standard to safeguard the integrity of our field and protect the organizations we serve
Sarah McLaughlin, MS

Thanks to the new credential, I-O Psychologists can finally be recognized like other graduate level professions for their specialized expertise rather than seeking credentials from professions in other fields. This is long overdue!
